Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

The food was delicious and full of flavor, but unfortunately the service did not match the quality of the food. We waited about 15 minutes at the entrance before anyone acknowledged or seated us. Throughout the meal, several menu items were unavailable, and we often had to raise our hands or look for our server because service was very slow. The only employee who seemed attentive was the young man clearing tables. He was friendly, helpful, and consistently aware of the guests. For the price of the All-You-Can-Eat experience, I expected much better service. Great food, but a very disappointing first impression.

Iβm very familiar with this brand because I frequent it often enough in SCAL. The food is great π but the service needs to improve in this restaurant. I went for early dinner (before 5pm) and there was only one server for the entire restaurant so the service was lousy. First off, it took forever to be seated. The restaurant was not crowded (so many seats available). Once seated, it took forever for someone to come and get our order. Once ordered, it took forever for our food to arrive. Maybe because I was hungry π but it felt like a long time. I was not the only one who felt that way. Another table left because they were waiting for so long and they came after us! So perhaps they need more servers during non-peak hours? I mean there wasnβt even a host in front for crying out loud. Everything was on that one guy who was there. It was brutal. I will say come for the food but be very patient with the service because it can deter you from enjoying your food. And that would be a shame.

Very good all you can eat restaurant with tons of beef options. It's kind of nice that the fans suck up the smoke, so you don't leave the restaurant smelling like a barbecue. You are limited on some options to 3 plates per person, my recommendation would be to try those first before moving on to other choices.

We came to Gyu-Kaku for dinner with a large group. Unfortunately the experience got off to a slightly awkward start because we werenβt able to move the tables together, which meant our group had to be split across two separate tables. The staff said this was for health and safety reasons, which we understood, although it did make the dinner feel a little less like a shared group experience. We decided to order the Ultimate set menu, but after we had already chosen it, our waiter told us we were only allowed to order appetizers for the first round. This wasnβt mentioned anywhere on the menu, so it felt confusing to have the rules changed after we had already decided what we wanted. After that, service felt a bit inconsistent. At times the staff seemed to disappear for long stretches, and there were moments where we were waiting quite a while for the next dishes to arrive, even though the table next to us was already well into their meals. Occasionally dishes also appeared that nobody at our table remembered ordering, which was a little strange. That said, the food itself was absolutely delicious. The quality of the meat was excellent, and there were some really standout dishes. One

We had such a wonderful experience and the service was excellent. We tried the Valentineβs Day special menu. There was a great variety of meats and everything was fresh, tender, and full of flavor. Grilling at the table made the experience even more fun and special. The salad was very good and the special strawberry desert. Thank you !
